Achieving a unique hat-trick of Wembley

Whitley Bay, who achieved a unique hat-trick of Wembley wins by lifting the FA Carlsberg Vase on May 8th, were presented with a specially commissioned painting by leading water colour artist Eric Thompson before the dinner – “a unique painting for a unique achievement,” said Amos. The presentation was made by World Cup final referee Howard Webb, the principal guest.
